Beaches of Cádiz

The beaches of Cádiz are known for their fine, clean, golden-coloured sand and crystal-clear, transparent waters. Both these beaches and those of nearby towns, such as Conil or Chiclana, are chosen every year as the best beaches in Spain by prestigious travel portals. You can find family beaches, more urban beaches and other more unspoilt beaches throughout our city. Our hotel is located 2 minutes walk from Victoria Beach. Within our city, we recommend the following beaches:

La Victoria Beach

Only 150 m away from our hotel, Playa de la Victoria is the urban beach par excellence. With a length of 3.3 km and moderate waves, it is the longest beach in our city and has a wide promenade, with bars, restaurants, beach bars and spaces to enjoy cycling, rollerblading…

Cortadura Beach

It is the only “natural beach” in the city (not urban) and forms the sandy junction between the city and San Fernando. It is 2.5 km long and has moderate waves. It is located on the outskirts and is the most unspoilt of all the beaches of Cádiz and also one of the longest. Ideal if you want to spend a quiet day. There are usually beach bars in the area.

Santa María del Mar Beach

This beautiful urban beach in Cádiz is located between two breakwaters, one facing west and the other facing east. With a length of 850 m and moderate waves, it is the favourite beach for surfers.

La Caleta Beach

This is undoubtedly the most picturesque beach in Cádiz. It forms part of the popular neighbourhood of La Viña and is one of the most photographed and painted beaches in the city. Surrounded by small boats, it is bustling and small, with hardly any waves. It is 400 m long. We recommend you visit it at sunset.
